Movement Medicine

Sherise and Gianine are sisters who come from a dance background and have explored the healing potential of movement over the years of working one to one and in groups with individuals who feel attracted to this healing and explorative modality. 

If you are someone who loves movement or to express through movement, this could be an interesting exploration for you. An inner exploration of movement from the inside out.

A three hours movement journey in the historic building of Weeishuis in central Schiedam, now an art gallery. In this workshop we work with the body on deeper layers of embodiment. Through movement we intend to connect to the body mind and soul and allow the stagnation and blocks to surface and move through. This generates freedom in the body.

This workshop can help you sense how energy moves and how to apply that in your dance to life.

In this safe space we intend to create an environment where healing and transformation are possible. A space where we feel that we can trust the process and our body’s wisdom. We will tap into our subconscious minds and transmute limiting beliefs. We will sink deep into our bodies and explore where emotions/feelings reside in our bodies and how we can acknowledge and transmute them.
